OptimusCarRental.com pays highest attention and concern for the client’s data safety and their privacy when making a car rental booking through its web site.
Visitors
Visitors which will not make a car rental booking, remain completely anonymous as our web site does not gather any sort of information without the knowledge of the visitor and does not send cookies by which can track the visitor’s past preferences. Identity information are only required for visitors that will make an actual reservation.
Information
Order confirmation, which includes rental details and some of your personal data, shall only be sent to your e-mail address and presented on screen on our web site after the booking.
Credit card details are required on a secured server on which other personal information are being transferred via SSL web security protocol. The SSL protocol is being used for personal data encryption and security during the transfer of the same. Process of encryption is completely finished before the start of personal data transfer. A locked padlock on the internet browser and “https” prefix is proves that all processes are being executed in a security area. We put great effort and make sure to protect your personal data by storing it on safe server protected by firewalls capable of blocking any external unauthorized access.
Credit cards are processed by NLB Tutunska Bank and for security reasons we never receive credit card number. In the event of refund, we pass only the bank processing number to NLB Tutunska Bank with the refund request. The NLB Tutunska Bank then determines which card was used for the payment and refunds your money accordingly.
Use of information
According the confidentiality policy of Optimus CarRental, all information gathered in the booking process will be treated as highly confidential and remain protected from abuse.
E-mailing lists and other information, which are obtained via bookings, shall only be used for the purpose for which they have been collected, will not be distributed to others or used for marketing purposes.
Personal data protection
OptimusCarRental.com is a property of a Macedonian entity and thus a subject to Macedonian legislation. Optimus CarRental undertakes to permanently protect all personal data in accordance with Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No.: 07/05, 103/08).
